  1. What if: Jar, sprinkle a pinch of osmocote smart release, a spoon or 2 of aquarium soil, an inch of sand or small pebbles, tie a piece of java moss to a pebble and a twig of driftwood & drop it in, acclimate a few Malaysian trumpet or Rams horn or Pons snails to your tap, fill water 1cm below rim max now, add a pinch of duckweed, lid, and plant, and you have a jarrarium ecosystem grow, just have to refill water with dechlorinated tap water then on and the snails will get all algae and clean roots too + cause waste from eating decay so its also a micro aquaponic grow. Even tho the vid seems way easier I'm still curious lol

  2. This makes me wonder at the possibility of a specific type of algae out there somewhere that could form a symbiotic relationship with the roots and actually benefit the plant, similar to how mycorrhizae acts in soil. I love this type of experimentation in the grow hobby, things like this are what can collectively push us all forward as growers. Keep up the awesome work!

  3. i get too attached to my plants could never purposely try damage the growing cycle maybe legal growers don't feel the same way because they aren't forced to use stealth and still try to produce a good grow 😀

  4. I'm really interested in this setup really just to piss off a friend If I'm starting from seed should I use rockwool or a peat pellet. Also since starting from seed I should order the Maxigro and the Maxibloom I want to do a 2 week veg 7 week flower as an experiment. Any input is appreciated!
